Long AI video generator: make a 20-minute video from one prompt

Ask most AI tools for a ten-minute video and you get a ten-second clip. That is a technical limit of the models. Getting past it takes planning, and this is the part of the job we built the tool around.

Why most AI video is short

Video models generate one continuous shot at a time, typically 8 to 30 seconds. To make something longer, you have to produce many shots and connect them. Do this by hand and each new shot knows nothing about the last, so faces change and the story loses its thread.

How a long video gets made here

  1. You give the idea or script and pick a length: 1, 2, 3 or 5 minutes, or 10 or 20 on Pro.
  2. The story is written out across the whole length, with the characters and look decided up front.
  3. Shots are rendered in order, each continuing from the one before.
  4. Everything comes back as a single MP4 with sound.

What works well at length

  • Stories with a few characters and a small number of locations.
  • Narrated topics such as history, nature and explainers, where voice carries the structure.
  • Lessons that move through clear stages.

Big casts and constant changes of location are harder to keep consistent, so keep things simple as the length grows.

Plan your credits

Cost grows with length, so test the idea with a one-minute version first. When it works, render the full length. You see the price before you begin, and failed renders are refunded. Long videos take longer to render, and we email you when yours is ready.

Beyond one video

For a story that needs more space, use the series generator, where each episode continues from the last.
